Brownfields as an opportunity for cities climate adaptation by IURS
Climate - fit project partner IURS - held a seminar on 12.10.2018 on “Brownfields as an opportunity” topic. Because the reuse of brownfields is very close to changing the temperature situation in the city depending on the land cover, it was a good opportunity for presentation of project results.
The seminar was attended by more than 70 participants, often being representatives of municipalities or regions. Representatives of the project partner GISAT - Kateřina Jupová - presented some of the results of the project, which were prepared for pilot area Ostrava. In the fruitful discussion, listeners were interested in further information. The participants were also invited to visit a 20.11.2018 workshop in Ostrava where the further results of the Climat - city project will be presented.
